ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — As COVID-19 cases continue to surge, Orange County officials announced new COVID-19 testing and vaccination sites opening this week.
Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings said a COVID-19 testing site will open at Clarcona Ocoee Elementary on Tuesday, joining existing testing sites at Barnett Park and Econ Soccer Complex.
All three sites are open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Demings said the new site comes as demand for testing continues to increase with around 3,000 people a day showing up to get tested.
Starting on Tuesday, Demings said the county will move its COVID-19 vaccination site from Barnett Park to Camping World Stadium. He said the vaccinations will be given in a drive-thru manner.
Demings said the goal is to make getting vaccinated as convenient as possible, to help slow the spread of the virus.
