ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Firefighters worked for hours to put out a massive fire at a home near Windermere.
The blaze started at about 1 a.m. Tuesday at a home on Oak Park Drive, near Conroy Windermere Road.
The home belongs to former U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson.

Grayson and his children were able to get out of the home unharmed.
His wife, Dr. Dena Grayson, was not home at the time of the fire.
Officials confirmed part of the roof collapsed on the two-story home.

Property records show the house is over 5,000-square-feet.
The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
Neighbors told Channel 9 that there were no fire hydrants near the house and firefighters had to rely on water from a nearby pond.
