ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The road has cleared of floodwater, after some drivers in Central Florida were dealing with flooded streets early Friday.

Channel 9 saw major flooding at the intersection of Orange Blossom Trail and Princeton Street in Orlando.

One driver, Brandon Campos, said that water levels were high, he had to push his car off the street.
“I got out my car and I pushed it through,” he said. “I think it is hydro locked It’d be nice if the city wrote me a check. “
Data shows parts of Orange County received nearly 5 inches of rain over a few hours.

A storm drain in the area made local flooding worse.
Once the Hubbard construction crew unclogged the storm drain at around 8 a.m., the water was gone in about 15 minutes.
