Driver dies after crashing into tree in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — One person died after a car crashed into a tree in Orange County on Wednesday afternoon.

Troopers said the driver of a Kia Optima died following the single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Lake Meadow Road and Lauren Beth Avenue.

Investigators have not identified the driver, but said the person died on the scene.
