BAY LAKE, Fla. — Walt Disney World announced it is working on refunding annual passholders who may have been overcharged Friday.
Many people on monthly payment plans said they woke up to a big charge: four months of payments on their annual passes.
Disney suspended payments for its annual passholders while it was closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Disney spokesperson released the following statement:
“Passholders on the monthly payment program were incorrectly charged today. We are in the process of reversing these charges and apologize for the inconvenience this caused.”
