Central Florida woman shot while driving through Orange County intersection, deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning.

Deputies said the shooting happened near the intersection of Bonneville Drive and Sussex Drive at 3:05 a.m.

According to deputies, the victim, a 24-year-old woman, told them an unknown suspect shot her while she was driving near the above intersection.

The victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Deputies said the shooter left the scene before deputies arrived and is still at large.

This incident remains under investigation.
