Acs led detectives to the 4400 block of South Rio Grande Avenue, where a body was found.
Deputies said that Acs told them the murder happened last week.
According to an arrest report, Acs arrived in Orlando on Jan. 7 to “locate an ex-girlfriend who pressed charges against him in Hillsborough County resulting in a warrant for his arrest.”

Acs plan was to locate his ex-girlfriend, “take everything from her” and flee the country, the report said.
The report states that while he was in Orlando, Acs lived with an individual, later identified as Tyrone Lawson, whom Acs eventually killed to steal a gun Acs believed the Lawson had in his possession.
According to the report, on Jan. 11, Acs attacked and killed Lawson with a piece of asphalt before attempting to hide the body in the Lawson’s bedroom.

To cover up the crime, Acs lowered the temperature in the apartment, doused the house in lighter fluid and tried to destroy the victim’s phone.
The report said that Acs attempted to contact a male friend of his ex-girlfriend, which resulted in the carjacking that eventually led to his arrest.
Acs told deputies he plans to confess to both crimes and hopes he receives the death penalty. Acs also said he would kill a corrections officer in hopes of getting it, the report states.
