ORLANDO, Fla. — A body was discovered Tuesday morning submerged in water at an apartment complex in the Rosemont area, the Orlando Police Department said.
Police said someone reported a suspicious item in the lake shortly before 8:45 a.m. at the Cypress Pointe apartments on Lake Orlando near North Orange Blossom Trail.
Firefighters removed the item and discovered a body.
Detectives are at the scene investigating the death.

Anyone with any information about the death is asked to call police.
