Investigators said when the caregiver arrived at the day care at about 3:45 p.m. to pick up the baby, Jace was found unresponsive in the car.
Paramedics determined that Jace was dead.
Detectives said they are waiting on the medical examiner’s report to determine the official cause of death.
Several neighbors described the home as a day care, but the Florida Department of Children and Families' map of registered child care providers doesn’t show a license for the address.
