Apopka funeral procession honors fallen firefighter Austin Duran

APOPKA, Fla. — The Apopka Fire Department held a funeral procession honoring firefighter Austin Duran on Saturday.

His casket was carried in the processional on a fire truck along the route on South Orange Blossom Trail.

Duran died last week after suffering from an on-the-job injury.

Out of respect for the Duran family, the media was asked to not cover the event inside.

The Apopka Fire Department said it appreciates the outpouring of support for the passing of one of its own.
