Abortion Protest/Rally Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — Following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and the recent decision by a Florida judge to block the state’s 15-week abortion, people on both sides still want to be heard.

On Saturday, two groups came head-to-head in front of an abortion clinic in East Orlando.

The Florida constitution states that every natural person has the right to be left alone and free from government intrusion into the person’s private life.

That is why a judge ruled the state’s abortion ban unconstitutional, saying it violates Florida’s privacy act.

Pro-life supporters showed up outside Planned Parenthood on University Boulevard on Saturday, supporting the Supreme Court’s decision.

Pro-choice supporters showed up as well to show their support of reproductive rights.
