$5K reward offered after man found severely burned along Orange County road

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies are asking for the community’s help to find out what happened to a man who died after being found severely burned along an Orange County road last week.

Orange County deputies said Suwayne James, 36, was found severely burned near South Goldenrod Road and Rio Pinar Lakes Boulevard on April 5 and died from his injuries over the weekend.

Deputies said a passerby called 911 after finding James along the roadway.

Detectives are searching for information about what happened to him as the investigation into his death is active and ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-8477. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for tips in the case.
