ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Four vehicles were struck by gunfire on Interstate 4 Monday morning near Walt Disney World property, deputies say.
Deputies said the shooting happened near the Orange and Osceola county line around 5 a.m.
Investigators said two of the vehicles were struck in Orange County and two were struck in Osceola County. Deputies said no one was injured.
The incident had drivers on edge Monday.
“It’s just very scary and it’s not something you want to happen to you,” one driver said.
Investigators have not released any description of a possible suspect, and only said they may have been driving a dark sedan.
“We have all of our resources that we have available to try and work on this case and identify these suspects,” said Jacob Ruiz with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Anyone with information regarding the gunfire is urged to call 911, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at 407-348-2222 or Crimeline at 1-800-423-8477.
“It could be road rage it could be something else. We’re working very hard to find out what the motive was,” Ruiz said.
