2 men accused of breaking into Orlando gun store, violating curfew

Men arrested after break-in at Orlando gun store, police say Officers said Devon Clarke and William Lane were both arrested and charged with burglary and violating curfew.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police said two men were arrested after a large group broke into a 74,000-square-foot shooting range and gun store.

Officers responded Monday night around 1 a.m. to the Shooters World Orlando on Lawing Drive near South Kirkman and Conroy roads, according to a report.

Orlando police said a large group of men ran from the store when they arrived, with some driving away recklessly.

Others leaving the store were seen running into nearby woods, police said.

Officers said William Lane and Devon Clarke were both arrested and charged with burglary and violating curfew.

Investigators said the incident was not connected to the protests Sunday night in Orlando.

Officers have not said how much damage was done to the store or if anyone was hurt.
