ORLANDO, Fla. — Two Central Florida men recently claimed $1 million each after playing the same Florida Lottery scratch-off game.

Douglas Johnson, 58, of Orlando, and Richard Locklin, 59, of Deltona, each claimed a $1 million prize playing the 500X THE CASH game.

Officials said Johnson bought his winning ticket from Circle K, located at 12914 East Colonial Drive in Orlando. He chose to receive a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.

Locklin purchased his winning ticket from Wawa, located at 4100 East Colonial Drive in Orlando. He also chose to receive a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.
Both locations will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning tickets.

Lottery officials said 500X THE CASH is a new $50 game, with a top prize of $25 million.
