ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — An 18-year-old is in custody facing charges related to the shooting death of a 14-year-old in Orange County in August.
Deputies said Lorenzo Hall, 18, turned himself in to deputies Friday afternoon.

During a news conference about an uptick in gang violence in the community, Orange County Sheriff John Mina said Hall was a suspect in the shooting death of 14-year-old Daquarvious Fudge.
Deputies said Fudge was fatally shot by someone who was hanging out of a car window near Cypress Street and Willie Mays Parkway just after 6 p.m. on Aug. 5.

Investigators said when they arrived on the scene they found Fudge with a gunshot wound at Columbia Street and Ivey Lane. The teen was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
There was a $5,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest in the case.
