Orange County votes to lower speed limits on several road to help improve driver safety

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Drivers on some roads in Orange County will need to pay close attention to some changes.

Orange County commissioners voted this week to lower several speed limits throughout the county.

The following areas are included:

Good Homes Road is going from 45 mph to 35.

John Young Parkway from 55 to 45.

You’ll have to drive 40 on Landstar Boulevard.

And Turkey Lake Road is dropping from 45 to 40.

County officials said this is all being done to make those roads a little safer.
