ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Task Force on Economic Recovery met Friday to finalize its recommendations for reopening and getting back to business.

The Task Force is broken up into four groups. One of which is focused on guidelines for reopening businesses.
The first hour of Friday’s meeting was dedicated to reading public comments that people sent in, which featured a wide range of opinions on specific types of businesses.

Fun Spot America officials also weighed in, requesting permission to reopen the theme park during Phase 1.
The task force also recommended seven general guidelines including things like handwashing, social distancing and temperature checks.

Once it’s hashed out, the task force will make recommendations to the mayor and commissioners.
