ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting in Orlando, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

It happened around 8:45 p.m. near the intersection of West Sand Lake Road and Winegard Road.

When deputies arrived, they found a woman in her 50s and a man in his 40s both shot.

They were transported to the hospital where the woman was pronounced dead and the man is in critical condition.

No suspect information was immediately available.
