Orange County Public Schools is putting some of its vacant property west of Interstate 4 up for sale.

The district is putting up for bid a 17.6-acre property at 525 West Kennedy Boulevard in Eatonville.
The property has never been slated for development by the district and was considered surplus land, district facilities spokeswoman Lauren Roth told the Orlando Business Journal.

No specific use is being sought for the property, with the goal just to sell to the highest bidder.
OCPS set the minimum bid price at $5.94 million and the deadline is March 18.
