ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Parents in Orange County are set to select an option to return their students back to the classrooms after the county gave an extension.
Orange County Public Schools elected to give parents extra time by moving the deadline from 5 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Monday.

Parents will be able to choose one of three back-to-school options: Face-to-face, LaunchED at home, or virtual school.
So far the district said 140,000 out of its about 212,000 students have completed choice registration.
If parents don’t choose one of the options for their children, they’ll be defaulted into face-to-face instruction.
