ORLANDO, Fla. — Some Central Florida drivers taking their kids to school in the mornings need to slow down.

Local law enforcement said they have already seen a number of drivers speeding through school zones.

Our deputies gave out 100 speeding tickets in school zones on the #FirstDayOfSchool. One car was going 57 mph—nearly 3x the 20 mph speed limit. In fact, Orange County deputies said they gave out 100 tickets for speeding in those areas on the first day of school on Wednesday.
