ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and the Orange County government will celebrate the community with cultural events.
This art exhibit will be at the Orange County Administration Building from May 1 to May 30. It will be open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Orange County AAPI Heritage Month Celebration with Proclamation Presentation
The month-long celebration will kick off Tuesday, May 2 at the Orange County Administration Building in the Commission Chambers. The event will be from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Click here for more information.
AAPI – FusionFest’s MYgration Film Festival

Asian American Heritage Council Asian Cultural Festival
This cultural festival will be on Sunday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ocoee Lakeshore Center Bill Breeze Park. Click here for more information.

This book club event will be at the Orange County Regional History Center on Thursday, May 18, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Orange County Asian-Inspired Art Contest Award Ceremony
Five AAPI artists will select the winners for four categories. The ceremony will be at the Orange County Admin Center on Friday, May 19, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
Asian Cultural Association Cultural Display and Performance
The Asian Cultural Association will perform the Kathak dance at the Orange County Regional History Center. Be prepared to dance and participate in other activities on Saturday, May 20, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Professor Wenxian Zhang of Rollins College will speak on a panel about Asian Americans in Florida. The discussion will be at the Orange County Regional History Center on Sunday, May 21, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, click here.
