Orange County drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination, testing site now open through January

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County health officials said the free drive-thru COVID-19 testing and vaccination site has extended operations through January.

The site at Barnett Park will be open through Jan. 31 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Vaccinations for children between 5 and 11 years old are available on Saturdays and Sundays only.

A parent or guardian must be present at the time of vaccination for anyone between 5 and 17 years old.

No walk-ups are allowed. Only four people will be tested or vaccinated in a car.

Families being tested are asked to be in the same car.

There is no criteria or symptoms necessary for testing.

Officials said due to high demand and occasional inclement weather, entrance to the sites may close early to accommodate all cars in line. Officials ask individuals to plan to be in the vehicle waiting line by noon.
