The first incident happened along State Road 417 on December 27. The victim said the black Mercedes quickly pulled up behind them.
The victim told deputies the Mercedes pulled up alongside them and the driver shot at them with a black handgun as they passed, missing the victim’s car.
Almost a month later, on January 21, a deputy reported hearing 10 gun shots and was flagged down by a driver who again reported a run-in with the driver of a black Mercedes.
The victim in that case said the Mercedes had also sped up behind them.

According to the sheriff’s office, there was an exchange of words between the two drivers when the person in the Mercedes again pulled out a gun and fired, hitting the car but not the driver.
Four days later, on State Road 408, another driver reported nearly getting into an accident with the Mercedes near State Road 417, sparking a road rage incident that ended with the driver firing six shots at the victim.
Finally, on January 28, another person reported getting into a confrontation with the driver of a black Mercedes at a Citgo gas station on Dean Road that again ended in gunfire.
That victim said the Mercedes had been following them too closely. When they pulled into the gas station, the victim says the driver of the Mercedes rolled their window down and fired a gun, striking the victim’s truck and the gas station.
