ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Orange County announced Friday morning that they had closed the portal for the COVID-19 vaccine after reaching the limit.
CDR Maguire, which operates the portal, said all 4,900 appointments had been booked by 8:30 a.m.

Residents were allowed to pre-register online before registering for COVID-19 vaccinations.
For seniors who weren’t comfortable or are unable to use the internet, the county staffed four community centers to assist residents who need help registering for the vaccine.
