Orange County to convert office building into new courthouse

Orange County plans to convert an office building into a new courthouse and clerk of courts complex.

The county is seeking a contractor for the conversion of the one-story, 33,915-square-foot building at 4037 Metric Drive in Winter Park. The estimated $12 million project would include exterior renovations, as well as the creation of two courtrooms, a clerk of courts public service counter and other support areas.
