ORANGE CITY, Fla. — An Orange City woman looked out her window around 3 a.m. on Thursday to see a blinding red light. Outside, her neighbor’s mobile home was burning to the ground.

Isabella Leonard called 911 and firefighters arrived on scene to find flames shooting through the roof of the home.

Firefighters said the home is a complete loss. They said no one was at home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

They said the fire was so hot that it started to melt the siding of a neighboring mobile home.

The fire marshal is on scene investigating the cause of the fire. They said it took more than a dozen firefighters 45 minutes to put out the blaze.
