ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The student body of one Orange County high school is returning to in-person classes for the first time in two weeks Monday just as another is going fully virtual due to COVID-19.
West Orange High School is shutting down its campus for two weeks after 12 people at the school tested positive for the virus. All 922 face-to-face students will pivot to online learning starting Monday.

Meanwhile, face-to-face Olympia High School students are heading back to classrooms for the first time in two weeks after contact tracers determined some of those who tested positive at the school attended a birthday party together.
The Department of Health in Orange County reported 13 students were at the party and that out of an abundance of caution, it chose to shut down the school.

As of Monday morning, there are 174 confirmed COVID-19 cases within the Orange County school district.
