Officials to break ground on fire station in Poinciana

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A brand new fire station is in the works for the Poinciana community.

Osceola County Fire Rescue & EMS will be joined by county leaders to break ground Tuesday morning on Fire Station 83.

The station will be located along Marigold Avenue, just east of Poinciana Parkway.

Fire Chief Larry Collier and District 3 Commissioner Brandon Arrington are among those scheduled to be on hand to put the first shovels into the ground.

Construction of the new facility is expected to be completed in late 2025, officials said.

Channel 9 will at this morning’s groundbreaking ceremony, which is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
