According to the police department, one of the officers began to experience a “medical condition” at the scene and had to be taken to the hospital. The officer was stabilized and remained at the hospital for evaluation.
Police say they did find “controlled substances” in the car that was stopped, but they still need to perform some tests to determine whether they were the cause of the officer’s medical condition.
