Ocoee officials ask parents to keep kids out skate park currently under construction

OCOEE, Fla. — Skateboarders in Ocoee will soon have a place to airwalk and do ollies.

In the meantime, the City of Ocoee is asking parents to help keep kids out of the skate park which is still under construction.

According to a Facebook post from the city, each morning, construction crews have to “undo the changes made in their absence.”

Officials are asking parents to remind their kids that construction sites are off-limits and trespassing on a construction site is a serious and dangerous offense.

The skate park and pump track are located at Vandergrift Central Park and are scheduled to be completed by May 2023.
