OCOEE, Fla. — The city of Ocoee will keep its new passion flower logo, despite criticism from the mayor who said it looked like a purple turkey.

This week, longtime Mayor Scott Vandergrift failed to persuade city commissioners to rethink the design.

The logo will be used on city stationery, trucks, gateway signs, and police and fire uniforms.

Other critics of the new logo say it looks like a smoldering campfire or a cartoon peacock.
