TAMPA, Fla. — Nickelback, Jason Aldean and Cody Johnson are among the artists scheduled to perform during a new three-day rodeo and music festival coming to Tampa.
The Hondo Rodeo Fest will make its Florida debut at Raymond James Stadium from Feb. 26 through Feb. 28, 2027.
The event will feature 76 invited rodeo athletes competing across eight disciplines for a share of a $1 million purse. Each night’s rodeo competition will be followed by two musical performances.

The rodeo is scheduled to run from 6 to 8 p.m. each day, followed by concerts from approximately 8:30 to 11 p.m.
Free fan festival
A free Western-themed fan festival will begin outside the stadium at noon each day.
Organizers said the festival will include live entertainment, interactive experiences, food and drinks, shopping and family activities.
The Tampa event will mark Hondo Rodeo Fest’s first expansion into Florida. The event previously took place at Chase Field in Phoenix and Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Ticket information
A ticket presale will run Aug. 26 and 27, with a limited number of tickets offered at a 25% discount while supplies last.
General ticket sales begin Aug. 28. Organizers plan to offer a 20% discount through Sept. 4 and a 10% discount from Sept. 5 through Oct. 2 before prices increase.
