ORLANDO, Fla. — Spectrum News 13 photographer Jesse Walden was released from the hospital Monday -- five days after being shot while on assignment in Orange County’s Pine Hills neighborhood.

Reporter Dylan Lyons died in that shooting on Hialeah Street.

He was shot while covering the fatal shooting of Nathacha Augustin, 38, which happened hours earlier at that same scene.

Nine-year-old T’yonna Major was also killed and her mother was critically injured in another shooting nearby at a home on Herrington Drive, deputies said.

Investigators said Keith Moses, 19, was responsible for each of the shootings.

“I was shot and now I’ve had surgery and I am OK,” Walden said in a Facebook post Thursday. “Thank you all so much for your well wishes ... I’m very lucky to be alive.”

Walden will continue his recovery at home.
