Moody’s office announced that the state will wait until a federal court decides on this law next month.
The new law aims to ban children under 14 from using social media sites like Instagram and TikTok.

Social media platforms will be required to remove all accounts belonging to anyone under the age of 14.
Gov. Ron DeSantis said it’s about protecting the youngest.
The law will also require parental permission for those 14 or 15 and use of a third-party age verification.
While some say the ban protects young users from harmful content, others say it violates free speech and privacy rights.
19 states have implemented age verification laws, including Texas.
The federal court will hear the case on Jan. 15.
