New autism therapy center set to open in Kissimmee

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — A new culturally and linguistically inclusive behavior therapy center celebrated its grand opening in Kissimmee.

Santiago & Friends opened its first autism center in 2015 with locations in Orlando and Titusville.

Now, the center is opening its third location in Kissimmee.

The plan is to open a fourth location in Sanford this Summer, serving four counties, including Seminole, Orange, Brevard, and Osceola.

Marucci Guzmán, the executive director of Latino Leadership, said they are excited to bring their culturally and linguistically inclusive services to the Kissimmee community.

“Our goal is to provide individualized therapy services that are tailored to each child’s unique needs and support their families with wrap-around services,” Guzmán said.

The new center will offer various behavioral programs to help parents be a support system for their children in the process.

Santiago & Friends focuses its programs on being inclusive for English and Spanish speakers.

“By offering culturally and linguistically inclusive therapy and education services, we aim to create an environment where every child and family feels supported and valued,” said Marytza Sanz, Latino Leadership’s Founder/President & CEO.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Thursday.
