New art exhibit featuring female artists from Florida opens at Orlando International Airport

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando International Airport is showcasing female artists from Florida in a new exhibit.

The exhibit, “Timeless Florida: Women Artists from the GOAA Collection,” includes paintings, prints, mixed media pottery and fiber that evoke a sense of natural Florida.

The collection features artists Beth Appleton, Karin Bastidas, Donne Bitner, June Bowers, Marjorie P. Bryan, Anna Chen, Sherry Lynn Lee, Frances M. Hancock, Laura Magnuson, Carol Elder Napoli, Betty Neubauer, Madeline Landing Pots, Vina Schemer, Jeanne Schubert, Leah Wiedemer and Jean Yao.

The exhibit will be open through the summer.

Travelers can view it in the main terminal on the third level near checkpoint gates 70-129.
