Children are encouraged to bring their teddy bears, or favorite stuffed animal, for a checkup.
Medical professionals from Nemours Children’s Health will conduct “examinations” to make sure the children’s furry friends are in tip-top shape.
The event is designed to help children become more comfortable with medical professionals both inside and outside a health care setting.
For children who aren’t able to bring a “patient” to be examined, teddy bears will be provided.
