Nemours and Orlando Science Center to host ‘Teddy Bear clinic’

ORLANDO, Fla. — Nemours Children’s Health and Orlando Science Center have teamed up to host a “Teddy Bear clinic.”

The Teddy Bear Affair will be held at the Orlando Science Center located at 777 E Princeton Street, Orlando, on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Children are encouraged to bring their teddy bears, or favorite stuffed animal, for a checkup.

Medical professionals from Nemours Children’s Health will conduct “examinations” to make sure the children’s furry friends are in tip-top shape.

The event is designed to help children become more comfortable with medical professionals both inside and outside a health care setting.

For children who aren’t able to bring a “patient” to be examined, teddy bears will be provided.
