ORLANDO, Fla. — Neighbors in Orlando and Belle Isle are asking law enforcement to shut down reckless drivers drifting and doing donuts on the intersection of Judge and Conway roads.

Bill Moore, a retired police officer, lives a mile from the intersection. He said it was shut down Saturday night while drifters took over, before they moved to a nearby business park.

“It’s no secret that this is an organized event, and it’s being published on Instagram,” he said. “If I can find it, I know law enforcement, investigative personnel can find it.”
Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolon said the department does operations with neighboring agencies to target that kind of behavior, but sometimes those events just pop up, like the event this weekend did.

Rolon called the situations dangerous and urges people to report it if they see it, or if they learn it’s going to happen.
