NASA, SpaceX complete rehearsals for Crew-6 launch to International Space Station

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. — NASA and SpaceX are one step closer to the launch of Crew-6.

Teams completed a static fire test for a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket early Friday.

The rocket is set to carry three astronauts and a Russian cosmonaut to the International Space Station.

After the crew was suited up, they were driven to the launch pad. From there, they rode the launch tower’s elevator up to the crew access arm, the walkway they will use to enter the Crew Dragon  Endeavour.

Liftoff is targeted for 1:45 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 27.
