ORLANDO, Fla. — Update: The number of cars involved in Friday’s pileup on State Road 408 has been updated to 43, Orlando Fire Department tweeted.
Orlando police originally estimated about 20 vehicles were involved.

One person was transported with minor injuries, OFD said.
All westbound lanes were closed at one point.
The roadway has since been cleared.

About 20 vehicles are involved in a crash on State Road 408 near downtown Orlando, police said.

It happened just before 5 p.m. Friday on State Road 408 westbound right before the Conway Road toll plaza.
Minor injuries are being reported, police said.

The express and EPass lanes are closed and traffic is being directed through the cash lanes, police said.
At approximately 4:55, officers responded to multiple crashes on S.R. 408 westbound at the Toll Plaza near S.R. 436. There are approximately twenty vehicles involved with minor injuries.
