Motorcyclist dies after Orange County crash, troopers say

ORLANDO, Fla. — A motorcyclist has died following a crash Sunday evening, the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash happened around 8:09 p.m. in Orange County.

The crash happened on State Road 436 and Oleander Drive in Orlando.

Troopers said the crash involved a 2021 BMW 330i and a 2008 Kawasaki Motorcycle.

FHP said the motorcycle rider, an 18-year-old man from Orlando, was taken to the hospital and was pronounced deceased.

Troopers said the driver of the BMW was not taken to the hospital and remained on-scene.

Southbound lanes on Semoran Boulevard are currently blocked at Oleander Drive.
