Missing Oviedo woman’s car found in Orlando, human remains located nearby

ORLANDO, Fla. — A missing woman’s vehicle has been found in a parking lot on East Colonial Drive, along with nearby human remains that have not yet been positively identified, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.

Julie Noppinger, 37, was last seen walking out of the Walmart on East Colonial Drive in Orlando at 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 26, deputies said.

Noppinger entered her 2013 red Nissan Altima and headed east on Colonial Drive toward Alafaya Trail, according to deputies.

Surveillance photos show Noppinger entering a Shell gas station near the Walmart.

The investigation has been assumed by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. A spokesperson said there is no indication of foul play so far in the investigation.
