WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. — The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said that the missing boy in Winter Springs has died.
Deputies said Axel was found in a nearby retention pond.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert Sunday for a Winter Springs boy.

Police said 3-year-old Axel Caballero was last seen in the 1380 block of Ponce De Leon Boulevard in Seminole County.

Police said Axel was last seen wearing a green shirt and a diaper after he wandered from his home.
Anyone with information on Axel is asked to call the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office at 407-665-6650 or 911.
