The shooting happened at 1 a.m. Saturday on East New Haven Avenue. Police said there was a fight, then an exchange of gunfire in the street. Both the victims and bystanders were sent running.

“I feel it’s actually a couple bad actors,” Melbourne Mayor Paul Alfrey said. “There are many businesses down there doing it right every day, every night. We know that Downtown Orlando has recently made some changes that have been positive.”
