MEGACON Orlando set to open its doors to large crowds this month

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — MEGACON Orlando, one of North America’s largest comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming events is set to open its doors at the end of the month.

This year’s event, hosted at the Orange County Convention Center, will take place from March 30 to April 2.

The event is expected to welcome nearly 130,000 attendees and is projected to generate more than $96 million for Orange County.

Expect increased traffic in the area, with Saturday expected to be the heaviest day of attendance.

Organizers said OCCC Security and Allied Universal Services will work together to ensure a safe and secure event.
