Medical examiner’s office investigates death of comedian Bob Saget

ORLANDO, Fla. — The medical examiner’s is looking into the cause of death of comedian Bob Saget.

Orange County deputies said the 65-year-old actor was found dead at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando on Sunday afternoon.

Saget was in Central Florida to kick off his new comedy tour, “I Don’t Do Negative.”

Deputies arrived at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando around 4 p.m. Sunday for a call about a man having passed out in his hotel room.

Investigators are still working on a cause of death.

They don’t believe any foul play was involved.

No drugs were found in the room at the time.

Saget was best known for his role as “America’s dad,” Danny Tanner, in “Full House.”

The show ran from 1987 to 1994.

It came back on Netflix with new episodes in 2016.

Saget also hosted “America’s Funniest Home Videos” and narrated “How I Met Your Mother.”

In his last social media post, Saget said he was “happily addicted” to being back on tour.

He said he was finding his new voice and loving every moment of it.

Saget is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and two children.
