2 injured in shooting outside Paddock Mall in Ocala, police say

OCALA, Fla. — Police are on scene of a shooting in the Paddock Mall parking lot.

The shooting happened around 5 p.m. Tuesday. Police said there were two victims who sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.

The suspect fled the scene after.

Police said that nobody inside was in danger at any time. The mall was evacuated and remains closed.

Officers are asking people to avoid the area.
